ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE
Electroacupuncture is a process whereby electrodes are clipped to the top of acupuncture needles to help make the treatment stronger without being unpleasant.
A small electric current passes between a pair of  needles to augment regular acupuncture and is particularly good at treating pain. This method was used in the 1800s in Italy and France but more recently was introduced into mainstream acupuncture and used more commonly in China from the 1950s. This is a well accepted aspect of acupuncture and has been extensively researched. Modern research in animal acupuncture has shown that it can significantly alleviate inflammation, nerve and organ pain.
